Your hands are not only some of the most visible parts of your body, but also the most used ones. They are involved in almost every daily activity and hence deserve full love, care and attention.
- Heat a bowl of milk in the microwave until it has the right temperature for your skin and soak your hands for about five minutes to moisturize your skin and strengthen your nails. Milk contains lactic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid that gently removes dead skin cells, and calcium which strengthens brittle nails.
- Combine the useful and the pleasant by adding a teaspoon of argan oil to the dishwater. The oil will moisturize and soften your skin while you’re doing the dishes.
- Thoroughly wash your hands with warm water and rub your hands using a rough-textured washcloth. While your skin is still slightly wet apply a mixture of half honey and half olive oil. Then put on some plastic gloves and cotton gloves on top of that. Leave for thirty minutes. The gloves will help to keep the warmth inside, intensifying the treatment.
- Scrub off dead skin cells with a mixture of lemon and sea salt. Use a toothbrush to gently rub it into your skin. We recommend you to do this twice a week to soften your hands and get a more even skin tone. Also a great remedy to remove nicotine stains from your fingers.
